Welcome to the Rural Municipality of Springfield, Manitoba's oldest and largest rural municipality. Established in 1873, Springfield stretches from urban industrial development on the eastern boundary of the City of Winnipeg, through urban, rural residential, agricultural and natural landscapes, to the Agassiz Provincial Forest on the municipality's eastern boundary. The Birds Hill Provincial Park nestles into the northwestern corner of Springfield.

Springfield is a diverse, thriving community of approximately 14,000 people from every walk of life. Springfield has some of the finest farmland in Manitoba and boasts attractions such as the Immaculate Conception National Historic Church and Birds Hill Provincial Park.

Springfield's Council, staff and friendly residents extend a warm welcome and look forward to your visit to our municipality where you can enjoy access to city attractions and global services while amidst a thriving farm and rural setting.

We are located at 628 Main Street in Oakbank, Manitoba, Box 219, R0E 1J0.
