The needs are clear: Our population is aging, and innovative community development is needed to address the specific needs of older adults.
Housing that provides physical, emotional, social supports and enable seniors to remain in the RM of Springfield will benefit our entire community.
Dugald Place Assisted Living Residence and Aquatic & Wellness Centre will provide:
- Fifty-four one and two-bedroom residences that will be fully accessible
- Each residence will be equipped with kitchenette, including fridge and microwave.
- Individually controlled thermostat in each residence
- Security system
- Window coverings
- Meal Plan
- Weekly light housekeeping and laundry services
- Guest Suite
There will be no shortage of things to do at Dugald Place due to the many social amenities it will offer, some of which include a café, hair salon, exercise room, spacious outdoor patio, large dining area, spacious resident lounges on every floor, communal balconies and 24-hour staffing.
The year-round community aquatic space will increase the general health outcomes of residents and will be available to community members from throughout the RM of Springfield
Construction is expected to commence in 2022.
