The Water and Waste Department operates and oversees 2 Waste Transfer Stations that provide waste and recycling services to all Municipal residences.
Transfer StationWaste and recycling materials are collected at both the Hillside Waste Transfer Station (HWTS) and Oakwood Waste Transfer Station (OWTS) for proper sorting and organizing before being transported by private haulers to the appropriate processing facilities.
Operations Staff at both the Hillside Waste Transfer Station (HWTS) and Oakwood Waste Transfer Station (OWTS) take great pride in ensuring the Municipality’s waste and recycling needs are met which are regulated by the Province of Manitoba and Manitoba Climate and Conservation.
